Led by an enigmatic guide known only as ‘The Butcher’, the award-winning Skipton Ghost Tour has been haunting the canals and yards of Skipton since February 2025.

They say Skipton has a ghost in every building, follow ‘The Butcher’ on this hour-long walking tour around Skipton’s spookiest spots to discover why.

Expect Kings, Queens, Knights, Witches, and some of the creepiest ghosts in Yorkshire - learn why the UK’s “happiest place to live” was historically the “most miserable place to die”!

The Skipton Ghost Tour is a great thing to do with the whole family. Dogs are welcome and the tour is suitable for all ages, with emotional support ghosts available at the checkout if you’re easily spooked. Tickets can be bought for our Saturday evening tours and private bookings run throughout the week - please enquire directly about private parties.
